In "Sculpt & Spin: Handbuilding and Wheel Throwing in Clay" students will dive into the exciting world of pottery! This class introduces the basics of hand building, where students will craft a unique clay project while learning essential pottery techniques. They’ll also explore pottery terms and studio safety, ensuring a fun and safe creative experience. The highlight of the class is working on the potter’s wheel at the location of "Muddy's Studio" in Santa Ana where students will learn to create and take home fired pieces. Perfect for beginners, this hands-on class offers a creative adventure into the art of clay! Please note your student's creations will be glazed by the studio at a later date and will need to be picked by families when completed.
