5th Grade Math: Singapore Dimensions
Welcome to our 5th grade math Core Companion class! We will dive into the Singapore Math curriculum, which emphasizes a concrete-pictorial-abstract approach. Students will develop a strong foundation in number sense, operations, geometry, measurement, and data analysis. Through engaging activities and problem-solving tasks, students will be encouraged to think mathematically, make connections, and apply their knowledge in real-life situations. A variety of interactive methods will be used, including quizzes, projects, presentations, and observations. Regular feedback will also be provided to students and parents, highlighting areas of growth and areas that require further attention. Together, we will explore, discover, and grow as mathematicians!

Enrollment reserves your student's spot for the entire course. Please only enroll if your student can attend both sessions each week.
Schedule: 2 days per week, Quarters 1-4.
This Core Companion Class is designed to support and reinforce student learning, alongside primary core assignments per your teacher of record. This will be a progressive class through all 4 quarters and Instructional Funds will be applied prior to the first class session. Curriculum is included at no cost to school-provided instructional funds (IFs). Non-consumable curriculum is to be returned at the end of the school year. Your enrollment holds your student's spot in all 4 quarters of this class.
