From Pharaohs to Philosophers: Ancient History Writing (5th grade IEW)

Experience the adventures of the ancient world in this immersive writing class! Students explore ancient cultures through engaging literature and fascinating stories about famous places and historic events. Using the Structure and Style®️ writing method, they will develop clear and compelling writing skills. Each lesson connects history with writing, making learning meaningful and exciting. From pyramids to philosophers, students will craft stories, essays, and reports inspired by ancient times. This theme-based curriculum builds both historical knowledge and confident writing abilities. Join us to bring the past to life through powerful writing!

Schedule: 1 day per week, Quarters 1-4.

This Core Companion Class is designed to support and reinforce student learning, alongside primary core assignments per your teacher of record. This will be a progressive class through all 4 quarters and Instructional Funds will be applied prior to the first class session. Curriculum is included at no cost to school-provided instructional funds (IFs). Non-consumable curriculum is to be returned at the end of the school year. Your enrollment holds your student's spot in all 4 quarters of this class.
