Adventures in Writing: Exploring Stories and Imagination (3rd grade IEW)

Welcome to Adventures in Writing, a theme-based writing class where students explore exciting topics like Roman hoplites, tornadoes, and Leif Eriksson. Students will learn to write clearly and creatively using the proven Structure and Style® writing method. This full-year curriculum provides rich, varied lessons that keep young writers engaged and designed to build strong writing skills while sparking curiosity about history, science, and adventure. This course does not constitute the student’s entire writing curriculum and is intended to be supplemental to their curriculum. Additional writing instruction and practice outside of this course will be necessary. Students should have basic sentence-writing skills.
