The Creative Caterpillars: 1st Grade Writer's Club
Is your young learner ready to transform their handwriting skills into powerful storytelling? Our 1st Grade Writers Club is specifically designed to bridge the gap between basic letter formation and the formal composition skills required for 2nd grade. Through a vibrant, hands-on approach featuring engaging read-alouds and interactive activities, students will journey from mastering the anatomy of a complete sentence to confidently constructing their first full paragraphs. We make writing an adventure by exploring diverse genres—from imaginative creative pieces to persuasive opinions—ensuring that "the blank page" becomes a place of excitement rather than frustration. By blending technical practice with playful exploration, we help your child find their unique voice and build the rock-solid foundation they need for academic success in the years to come. This class includes a field trip to Hawk's Ranch in Murrieta on February 3rd at no extra cost in IFs! More information will be provided as we near event date. Attendance is not mandatory in order to enroll in this class.
